Colin: So… This strip (and subsequently, Dr Eisenriese) was inspired by this.
I really want to pretend I’m clever and say that everything Eisenriese says in the fifth panel is intentionally meta-textual and we purposefully put out this nonsensical strip to prove that just riffing of shit from the internet does not great webcomics make, but alas I’d be lying. I just tried to riff of shit from the internet to make a great webcomic, and make Neil happy by giving him something different to draw. It didn’t work on both counts, and Neil nearly quit.
Roboclop, though, amirite?
